At heart, I am a systemic clinician, constantly applying context and relational aspects to appropriate treatment. My practice focuses on empowering clients, whether working through trauma, grief, relationship/sexual issues, developmental concerns, family/couple conflicts, or life adjustments. I aim to support: self-admiration, autonomy, and balanced connection to others. I embrace holism, client strengths, and individualized goals for each client. I am committed to an integrative, flexible approach, believing every person is their own best expert.
My overall approach is collaborative, holistic, and client-centered. I am committed to anti-oppression in every facet of my work. I believe, with warm and authentic support, every person has the ability to identify inner resources and acquire skills that will empower them to find healing and fulfilling relationships to self and others. I subscribe to a safe, respectful, and honest environment. My style is compassionate and appropriately direct. While I find exploration of the past useful, I prefer to use the here-and-now to realize and effect change.
